Work Package - 2, Technical Reports

WP-2 comprises activities on, Development of a common methodology and monitoring system for territorial development and described, as follows:

• Preparation of the common methodology for territorial analysis and diagnosis, as setting and preparation for cross-check Bulgarian-Romanian /CBA/ planning and cartographic systems;
• Preparation of the common methodology for strategic planning process and monitoring by means of measures and methods to setting up an efficient partnership for CBA strategic planning;
• o Trainings and workshops for efficient use of the CBA methodology; preparing guidelines to setting up a CBA territorial observatory.

Important notice: Part of this procedure is the methodology for regular monitoring of changes within the land cover and land use, based upon VHR satellite imagery. This leads to maintaining and updating of steady reference layer - land cover / land use, developed by PP9 – ASDE-Ecoregions.
